Originally, the objective of MIDECIANT was to increase an international collection of works made by artists who had used, for their creation, any type of machines and processes related to new reproduction and printing technologies (called electrography). Currently, it’s especially dedicated to the conservation and dissemination of its collection, which grows every day, as well as the digitization of works and editorial and scientific publication. Furthermore, to nourish his knowledge and collection he maintains contact with other entities, as well as with national and internacional artist’s projects.
To date, the MIDECIANT has produced numerous exhibitions, publications, and projects. We would like to thank all the people who have made donations and participated in the museum-innovation center's activities.
