UCLM with Ukraine

s a sign of solidarity and support with the people of Ukraine, the University of Castilla - La Mancha (UCLM), together with its academic institutions and its whole university community, has promoted a specific aid plan for the conflict victims. This plan establishes two different lines of action, these being, on the one hand, those activities fulfilment that respond to the urgent needs of the Ukrainian population; and, on the other, those actions that have been addressed at Ukrainian Students and Faculty Staff, those who have been forced to leave their homes and academic places because of this cruel war.

UCLM has created this website as a platform for coordination and dissemination of all the activities and initiatives that have been organised by its different members, in favor of the victims of the war in Ukraine.

UCLM INITIATIVES

Support for Expatriated Students, Faculty Staff and Researchers

1.- Aid to Undergraduate (BA), Postgraduate (MA), and PhD Students

This assistance´s main goal is to facilitate those expatriated Ukrainian students their connection to BA, MA, and PhD Studies at UCLM. So that they could not interrupt their academic activities, UCLM has established a procedure to recognise the student’s needs and opportunities that we can offer them.

2- Access to Bibliographical Funds

The UCLM Library will provide its regular services at no additional cost to those Ukrainian Students, Faculty Staff and Researchers who have already joined UCLM.

The UCLM Language Center (CEL) will launch Spanish as a Foreign Language and Culture courses that will help those expatriated Ukrainian students adapt to academic and personal life during the 2022/2023 Academic Year.

This Hot Coco Party has been benefit of the Ukranian people on the Toledo and Talavera de la Reina Campuses. This has been sponsored by the Studentes Union from the Toledo Campus together with University Roman Catholic Pastoral and Caritas Toledo.
