International Doctoral School – Mentoring Program (UCLM)

The International Doctoral School of UCLM and the Vice-Rectorate for Scientific Policy are working on a UCLM Mentoring Program aimed at students enrolled in doctoral programs at our university during the 2025–26 academic year.

Within the UCLM Mentoring Program, there are two participation modalities:

  • Postdoc–Predoc Program: For students in their 3rd year or beyond of their doctoral studies. Mentors will be individuals who hold a doctoral degree and have postdoctoral academic–professional experience. The objective is to support the transition from doctoral studies to the academic world and to other fields outside academia where research careers or professional careers related to innovation and knowledge can also be developed.
  • Predoc–Predoc Program: For students in their 1st or 2nd year of doctoral studies. Mentors will be doctoral students in their 3rd year or beyond. Here, the objective is to support those who have recently begun their doctoral studies, assisting them in choosing training activities, understanding the usual procedures at the International Doctoral School (EID-UCLM), and generally providing guidance on academic life based on each mentor’s experience.

On January 22nd, the UCLM Mentoring Program was presented at the Mediateca of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Albacete, with the goal of accompanying, connecting, and promoting research talent.
