Competences

A

ccording to the ruling of 23/12/2020, of the University of Castilla-La Mancha, on the delegation of the Rector’s competences in different matters and bodies, the following correspond to the Office of the Vice-Rector for Health Sciences:

  1. Competences for coordinating the degrees in health sciences.
  2. Any faculties and competences attributed to the rector as regards the official representation of the university in the joint committee with SESCAM.
  3. The competences, in collaboration with the teaching institutions, related to supervising clinical practice and other care activities.
  4. Coordination with the office of the vice-rector for teaching staff and professional development in matters concerning health science teaching staff, with a special emphasis on attracting teaching staff.
  5. Competences related to promoting the creation of university clinics.
  6. Competences related to providing psychological and psychoeducational counselling and support to the university community.
  7. Competences, in coordination with the university management, related to workplace health and safety measures and risk prevention, and to promoting and coordination initiatives for a healthy university. 
  8. Generally, all the functions attributed to the rector in the field of health sciences under current legislation, the university statutes and other applicable provisions.
